Minutes for Meeting
of September 25, 2006
1. The Chairman
called the meeting to order at 7:34 pm.
2. Attendees gave
the pledge to the flag.
3. The Open Public Meetings Act compliance statement
was read as follows:
“Adequate notice pursuant to the Open Public Meetings
Act has been given of this meeting by:
a. Forwarding notice thereof to Today’s
Sunbeam and the Daily Journal, both of which were printed
in the January 10, 2006 edition of the papers,
b.
Posting notice thereof on the community events bulletin board at the

Filing notice thereof in the Office of the Municipal Clerk for

done at least 48 hours in advance)”
4. Attendance: Regular Members Kevin Garrison,
Meghan Hack, Dave Hunt, Bob Morse and Herb Wegner; Alternate Member Tom Figlio and visitor Mayor Pete Voros.
5. Kevin added that we need to add to member
comments a note about the discussion concerning our need to look for funding
from places other than the State; that money will run out. Tom Figlio needs to
be crossed off of the minutes from August.
Bob Morse made a motion to approve the minutes with the corrections mentioned. Kevin Garrison seconded the motion. All approved.
6. The Chairman stated that we would suspend the
regular business of the Environmental Commission to allow time for the
presentation on Conservation Design.
7. Area Meetings:
Open
Space Meeting at the WARE building on Wednesday, September 27 at 7 pm
8. Public Comments: None
9. Bob Morse made a motion to
adjourn the meeting at 7:45 pm. Kevin Garrison seconded the
motion. All approved.
