Live Where You Work
NJ Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (HMFA) and DCA have
announced a new homeownership program for
municipalities! Live Where You Work (LWYW) is a new
homebuyer incentive program that encourages homebuyers
to purchase a home in the same municipality where they work
- and brings long term benefits of stronger
communities and decreased traffic on your streets.
Incentives include a low interest loan, down payment and closing cost
assistance, more flexible underwriting criteria, and the
cost and time savings of living closer to work. If you
are interested in having more of those who work in
your town, live in your town - please visit the
Live Where You Work Website at
www.livewhereyouwork.nj.gov
or contact Michael Gumpert, the program Project
Manager at 609-278-7411 or
Mumert@njhmfa.state.nj.us.
