RENOVATIONS TO THE TOWNSHIP SENIOR
CENTER
SECOND GRANT APPROVED FOR
THE TOWNSHIP SENIOR CENTER
With Phase I renovations to remove Americans
with Disabilities Act barriers at the Pittsgrove Township Senior Center
nearing completion, the Township was notified on October 21, 2005, that it
will receive a second grant in the amount of $400,000.00 from the New Jersey
Department of Community Affairs to complete Phase II of the renovations at
the Senior Center. Phase II renovations will entail upgrading the Center’s
mechanical systems, including the installation of a new HVAC system, a new.
boiler, new registers, exhaust and diffuser systems plus the installation of
a new control system. The Township will immediately start the bid process so
that Phase II can be completed as soon as is possible.
