RECREATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE
MINUTES
DECEMBER 5, 2005
The Recreation Advisory Committee held it’s regularly scheduled meeting in the Pittsgrove Municipal Building on December 5, 2005
Members present were Bruce
Ricards, Audrey Mavroff, Kate Harrison, Sue Voros and Walt Wenner. Alternate
member present was Sam Amico. Sub committee members in attendance were Jeff
Ridgway and Linda DuBois.
On a motion made by Audrey Mavroff and seconded by Walt Wenner, the aforementioned minutes were approved as submitted.

OLD BUSINESS:
UPDATE ON
PSC/DEAN PARK USAGE
Bruce Ricards reported there were still issues with
field/light usage at the soccer fields since the last Recreation meeting. Jeff
Ridgway informed the committee that the soccer season is now officially over
and some new scheduling techniques will be put in place next year to alleviate
scheduling conflicts. The Recreation
Advisory Committee is going to need detailed schedules from all groups.
BUDGET
Secretary reported Budget request has been forwarded
to the budget committee. Jeff Ridgway and Linda DuBois informed the committee
that the budget review process has begun.
GROUP INSURANCE
Jeff Ridgway spoke to Dave Mulford, Township
Administrator and he has sent a letter to the Township Solicitor and JIF to
investigate the idea and is waiting to hear back.
Kate Harrison arrives at 8:10pm.
FEES FOR
USE OF SCHOOL FACILITIES
The committee will revisit this issue next month. Dr. Copare is looking into the matter and
was unable to attend the meeting.

BUSINESS:
PARK
REQUESTS
On a motion by Walt Wenner and seconded by Kate
Harrison, requests to use Green Branch
Park soccer fields and facilities by PSC from January through December 2006 was
approved contingent upon receipt of detailed schedules.
VOTE: ALL IN
FAVOR
On a motion by Sam Amico and seconded by Audrey
Mavroff, request to use Green Branch Park football practice and game fields by
Generals DFL Football from December, 2005 through May, 2006 was approved
contingent upon receipt of detailed schedule.

GREEN
BRANCH PARK SOCCER FIELDS
Jeff Ridgway suggested that PSC forward a proposal to
him regarding maintenance needs for the soccer fields and he will pass the
request on to Public Works for their input.
PSC is going to provide financing for such maintenance but a plan needs
to be worked out.
There being no further business on a motion made by Kate Harrison and
seconded by Audrey Mavroff, the meeting was adjourned at 8:22pm.
