Park Earth Day Tree Planting
The Pittsgrove
Township Shade Tree Advisory Committee (STAC) selected Unity Park as
the site for an Earth Day tree planting ceremony. Members of the public
were invited to the park which is located on Isaac Avenue, just off of
Gershal Avenue in Norma on Saturday, April 22, 2006 to help
plant the first trees that will flank the park’s entranceway.
Unfortunately, the weather was not very cooperative but the trees were
planted in spite of the wind and rain.
