Construction & Demolition Waste:

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that effective June 1, 2010 the Township of Pittsgrove will no longer accept (13C) Construction & Demolition Waste at the Pittsgrove Township Waste Disposal Facility. This is in accordance with the Pittsgrove Township Code 83-12, "Disposable and Prohibited Items," which states the following materials are specifically prohibited from being deposited in the waste disposal facility, and the waste disposal facility attendant is authorized to reject any item consisting of or mixed with these materials: Waste materials resulting from construction, repair, alteration, renovation or demolition by contractors or residents. Residents, property owners and tenants wishing to use the Pittsgrove Township Waste Disposal Facility must possess a permit. Permits may be obtained at the Pittsgrove Township Public Works Office, 1004 Centerton Road, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. You may be required to present your vehicle registration in order to obtain a permit.

NO TARP - NO SERVICE! HELP KEEP OUR TOWNSHIP CLEAN & BEAUTIFUL:

New Jersey State Law NJAC 7:26-3.4 requires open vehicles, such as pick-up trucks and trailers, to be covered when transporting solid waste debris on public roadways.

Days and Hours of Operations:

Monday through Thursday:
12:00 Noon to 6:00 P.M.
Saturday: 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
Friday, Sunday and Holidays: Closed

The use of secured tarps minimizes windblown litter from vehicles while being transported. A special thank you to everyone for helping to keep Pittsgrove Township roads litter-free by complying with the tarp law.
